• I'm worried about what people will think of me. One of the biggest worries among people with depression is how people will react to the news of their condition. "What will family and friends think of me?" "Will they think I'm weak?" "Will they tell me to snap out of it?" You don't have to tell anyone about your depression if you don't want to.

  • I feel much better. Do I need to continue taking my medication? Each person is different and you should follow the treatment duration recommended by your doctor. Most doctors recommend that you should continue to take your antidepressant medication for at LEAST 6 months after you begin to feel better; this is called maintenance therapy.
